Catherine has always had a passion for cuisine, cultures and travel. Her love of food and preparing food was passed down to her through her Italian heritage. Food and meals have always been an important part of her family gatherings. In college, as a study abroad student in Spain, she expanded her food knowledge and gained an appreciation for the flavors of other Mediterranean cuisines. After college, she attended and graduated from The Restaurant School of Philadelphia’s Chef Program. Her first interest after culinary school was in catering, and she worked for various hotels and catering companies. As her focus became more on healthy cooking, she decided to develop a Personal Chef business with a niche of wellness cooking. She has been in business for 10 years creating healthy menus and meals for clients. She has specialized in working with clients with food allergies, autoimmune diseases, cancers and other health conditions, in addition to healthy families and professional athletes.
She develops recipes that are fresh, simple, and easy integrate into busy, modern schedules. In addition to working with private clients, Amanda teaches group cooking classes and wellness workshops in Chicago
